Purpose

~ The Manager for Regional Dealer Network & Performance is tasked with the highly effective implementation, execution, performance tracking, and exacting follow up of all dealers entering the Core Operational Performance Program (“COPP”). Facilitates regional implementation of COPP to maximize dealer performance with an expectation to cure identified performance deficiencies in the areas of sales, customer experience, facility, financial, and Dealer Sales & Service Agreement breaches. Assists the Sr. Group Manager of Regional Market Representation with ongoing and new initiatives related to dealer network performance. Helps ensure the future success of new Hyundai dealers by managing a high-quality onboarding process which leverages strong knowledge of Hyundai programs and processes. Collaborates with multiple stakeholders including dealers, regional personnel, NHQ Performance Management Team and various NHQ departments.

Major Responsibilities

Regional COPP Project Lead Responsibilities:

~ Aligns with NHQ Performance Management Team and Region Leadership on dealers that will enter the COPP program protocol.

~ Coordinates COPP initial meeting process which includes scheduling meetings, developing presentation decks, and providing action plan template.

~ Leads performance improvement action plan process which includes verification of action plan submissions, ensuring action plan quality, and monitoring action plan progress with support from SMM, ASMM, and Regional Leadership.

~ Manages and facilitates all HMA approved written COPP regional communications.

~ Uses independent judgement to track all required COPP dealer contact activities.

~ Leads and/or participates in COPP dealer meetings when appropriate.

~ Exercises discretion to ensure regional team secures and files all COPP related communications including letters, emails, evaluations, and captured conversations.

~ Monitors dealer performance and communicates program status with regional team including Market Managers.

~ Uses advanced knowledge to summarize and communicate dealer performance progress and final performance evaluation to Region Leadership, NHQ Performance Management / Legal Team.

Regional New Dealer Launch Responsibilities:

~ Coordinates new dealer on-boarding meetings and ensures on-boarding checklist is completed.

~ Potential employee supervision, program development, internal/external communications, problem identification, and finding solutions are all expected in this position.

~ All employee evaluations, CR/PR/expense report approvals, program approvals, and budget decisions must ultimately be approved by the Regional General Manager.

Education

~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelor’s degree required.
~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

~ Six or more years of experience of which at least five years of directly related experience in the automotive industry.

~ Field and District Sales Manager experience strongly recommended.

~ Supervisory experience desired
