Purpose
~ Responsible for all Market Representation activities in the region.
Major Responsibilities
~ Prospect for open point candidates. Identify and recommend strongest candidate for open points to the Regional General Manager and National Office.
~ Ensure all Sales & Service Agreements are submitted and renewed prior to their expiration dates. Region should not have expired agreements under any circumstances.
~ New Sales and Service Agreements are to be submitted to National Market Representation in a timely fashion allowing time for review prior to execution date requirements. Paperwork is to be 100% complete before submission.
~ Renewals are to be submitted in a timely fashion so they can be reviewed before expiring. Region is to have 100% active dealer agreements. No dealer should be operating on an expired agreement.
~ Amendments are to be submitted for properly review with 100% of the paperwork complete.
~ Buy/Sells must be submitted 100% and in timely enough fashion that each can be routed for signatures before execution dates.
~ Terminations must be monitored with all company assets protected. This position is responsible for ensuring all necessary payments due to HMA are protected.
~ Ensure dealership compliance with HMA dealership guidelines and requirements. This includes but is not limited to capitalization, working capital guidelines, facility standards, signage standards, sales efficiency and inventory levels.
~ Develop reports and analyze data regarding Market Rep activities, provide information to management and DSM/DPSMs.
~ Schedule, conduct and summarize application data and interviews for dealer applicants in the Region making applicable recommendations to both Regional and National management.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
~ Supervise and direct activities of administrative assistant and Mgr. Market Representation if applicable.
~ Develop and recommend Market Rep plans and strategies communicating these to the Director of market Representation.
~ Identify markets within region that need additional Hyundai dealer representation.
~ Monitor the timely shutdown of dealers that terminate protecting all HMA assets.
~ Work closely with National Office to achieve Market Representation goals.
~ Train and Mentor the DSMs, DPSMs and if applicable the managers of Market Representation.
~ Perform all other assigned duties (duties that are ancillary to this position and/or complement the essential duties) as required.
Authority
~ Responsible for protecting all company assets in situations where dealers owe payments to HMA.
~ Responsible for approving Time Off Requests for regional Market Representation section.
~ Responsible for approving Equipment/Software requests for regional Market Representation section.
~ Responsible for completing the Performance Goals/Evaluations for regional Market Representation section.
Education
Related Experience
~ Ten plus years wholesale related automotive experienced desired with demonstrated abilities in direct dealer contacts.
~ Three to five years of supervisory experience desired.
~ Demonstrated abilities using SAP, Market Master Online (MMO), Business Management Intelligence (BMI), Market Flash Mobile App and database management.

~ Excellent knowledge of the Hyundai Dealer Financial Statement.
