Purpose

Drive the expected network transformation and ultimately targeted incremental sales by working in close collaboration with the assigned Strategic Regions (SR) and affiliated National Sales Companies (NSC) for the development of market studies supporting the Fewer-Bigger-Better (FBB) global network strategy, monitor the implementation and market actions in-line with approved plans, supervise the execution of Financial Interventions (FI) according to established policies, manage governance at regional/global levels for timely decision-making, facilitate best practices and guidance on FBB strategy and implementation tactics.

Major Responsibilities

· Primary role will be working with the assigned SR and affiliated NSCs on developing/implementing FBB strategies for optimize Distributor/market/dealer performance and network coverage for Hyundai globally.

· Provide guidance to assigned SR in matters relating to market representation activity.

· Gather local markets insights to understand specific challenges, to be addressed within the FBB strategy.

· Proactively identify best practices and support the development of a DND 'toolbox' to be facilitated among SR/NSC.

· Coordinate collaboratively with the assigned SR and affiliated NSCs the adoption of standards/processes related to Dealer Performance Management.

· Coordinate and manage vendor/supplier relationships.

· Provides reports and recommendations to the GCOO Executive Committee regarding network transformation progress.

· Coordinates market studies and develops FBB strategic plans.

· Analyzes various market KPIs and FBB prioritization of the assigned SR.

· Working with GCOO office, GOD teams, and SRs to gather necessary regional/local information on activities in all markets.

· Coordinate market actions and incremental sales target setting process with the assigned SR/NSC, aligned with approved MTP and network plan.

Major Responsibilities (continued)

· Monitoring of FBB implementation KPIs in coordination with SR/NSC, ensuring the execution is aligned with approved network plans.

· Collect Distributors evaluation report from the assigned SR, ensuring the information is aligned with established criteria to support the decision-making process on Distributors contract renewal or Distributors replacement.

· Manage all activities associated with the ongoing DND governance meetings of the assigned SR including; scheduling and coordinating market study presentations, compiling all presentation materials, ensuring all necessary supporting information and photographs are available, maintaining complete records, tracking and publishing of all Steering Committee decisions/recommendations.

· Use advanced knowledge to supervise the execution of Financial Interventions (FI) of the assigned SR and affiliated NSCs according to established DOA/policies, aligned with governance approvals.

· Maintains, tracks and processes for Globally approved FI actions.

· Exercise discretion to support organization/coordination with GOD of Global DND conference with local/regional/global DND stakeholders.

· Provide support and guidance to the SR/NSC in the execution of regional/local investor events designed to engage and attract top performing “Rainmakers” into FBB implementation.

· Responsible for ad-hoc reporting and special projects as they become available to the GCOO DND group.

· Validates SR/NSC proposed FBB strategy.

· Responsible for overseeing SR/NSC implementation of long-term network strategy.

· Responsible for SR/NSC adoption of dealer performance and representation standards/policies.

· Supports facility program.

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred
~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

· Eight or more years of wholesale automotive experience including five years in positions relating to market analysis and dealer representation planning and placement.

· Knowledge of business operations and the ability to understand dealership operations from both commercial and financial perspectives, typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

· Five or more years of experience with OEM field background.

Skills/Knowledge

· Ability to build productive and effective cross-cultural relationships with DND stakeholders and Executive management, while addressing/challenging key issues to deliver on strategy expectations.

· Ability to apprehend comprehensively distinct markets environment to propose the most adequate strategic and tactical approach. 

· Other professional languages are a plus.

$107,800.00 - $154,000.00 Annual
