Purpose

  • This position will play a key role within the HMNA CEO Office and will directly support the North American President and Chief Executive Officer for Hyundai and Genesis.
  • This individual will play a direct role in shaping and delivering the company’s internal and external business strategy and performance updates.
  • Reporting into the Sr. Group Manager, HMNA Governance and Communications, the Senior Manager will be responsible for developing impactful presentations, crafting clear and compelling messaging and collaborating with PR/Third Party vendors to build communication strategies for the President & CEO.

Major Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to create high-quality presentations, speeches, and talking points for internal and external engagements, including conferences, town halls, media interviews and internal Global meetings.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring the CEO's voice, tone, and strategic priorities are effectively communicated.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and PR teams to ensure consistency of messaging across external channels, including social media and press releases.
  • Support the CEO in responding to media inquiries and preparing for public appearances such as Dealer Grand Opening, Market Drives with the regions, Grassroots meetings, etc.
  • Design and develop compelling visual and narrative content for presentations using tools like PowerPoint, or other visualization software.
  • Ensure that all presentations are on-brand, visually appealing, and effectively communicate key messages to diverse audiences.

Major Responsibilities (continued)

  • Collaborate with senior leadership from all departments to consolidate and align messaging and ensure business strategies support the objectives of the presentation.
  • Provide support for other ad-hoc projects as needed and manage the day-to-day actions that enable accomplishment of the above.

Authority

  • Responsible for supporting and making recommendations to the Sr. Group Manager, HMNA Governance and Communications.

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred
~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience in communications required
  • Prior experience directly supporting communications for an executive team required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Five years of directly related experience in automotive preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred. 

Skills/Knowledge

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive messages.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation design skills, including experience with PowerPoint or other visual tools.

$107,800.00 - $154,000.00 Annual
