~ The Senior Group Manager, Parts and Pricing leads the development and execution of pricing strategies, financial performance reporting and supply coordination activities, along with current and long-range Business Plans for the Hyundai and Genesis brands.


Major Responsibilities:

Pricing – lead a team of pricing associates through regular pricing activities, ad hoc studies, competitive analysis, and annual mass pricing actions.  This work requires both the development of the pricing strategy along with the necessary reporting and financial analysis of proposed actions.

Planning – develop business plans and policies for the execution of target activities including process/program support, parts supply, remanufacturing, repair, campaign/safety supply for recall completion, gray market/counterfeit, dealer returns, inventory management and special promotions.  These responsibilities require tight coordination with workgroups within Aftersales (Service Programs, Marketing…etc) and across the organization; Engineering, MOBIS, GLOVIS, select outside partners, North American Safety Office, Legal and Customer Experience along with others. 

Forecasting and Financials – forecast on a regular and as needed basis for month end, quarterly and annual parts sales and profitability. This role is responsible for consuming and understanding specific actions across the company that drive parts and service business and translating those program metrics into reportable parts financial forecasts with clarity and accuracy.

Communication – provide clear and succinct reporting on financial performance, program and supplier performance, budget and other KPIs

Leadership – coach, hire and promote for success with focus on employee engagement and open communication at all levels

Partnership – manage business partners for maximum customer and company benefit with Parts Sales Growth, Profitability and Business Stability as top priorities

Flexibility – accept special projects, assignments or tasks as deemed appropriate and assigned by management

~ Must be a high school graduate.

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred.

~ Master’s degree a plus.


Related Experience:

~ Ten plus years of parts experience.

~ Three to five years of supervisory experience.

~ Experience in System Implementation and project management.

~ Three to five years of experience in budget management.


Skill / Knowledge:

~ Strong oral and written communication skills.

~ Ability to lead, train, motivate and manage multi-skilled personnel.

~ Ability to perform in a fast paced environment.

~ Experience in pricing models, inventory management and control, budget setting and financial forecasting.

~ Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

~ Thorough understanding of complex System implementation.

~ Understanding of BI tools, Data warehouse, Parts, Service and CRM enterprise systems.

~ Strong management and supervisory background.

~ Proficient in Microsoft Office, AS400.

~ Must be analytical and be accomplished in presenting to different levels/audiences.
