Purpose

  • The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible is responsible for aligning business objectives with developing and implementing a robust people strategy that proactively addresses business needs and all major HR areas; talent acquisition, organization development, performance management, talent planning and career development, employee relations, leadership development, employee communications, compensation and rewards, learning, etc.

Major Responsibilities

  • Builds and sustains trusted advisor/business partner relationships by regularly meeting with assigned business units (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive management aiding in business and functional plans.
  • Understand business goals and implement innovative approaches for continual improvement.
  • Provide performance management guidance and coaching to management.
  • Facilitate HR Programs and strategies through collaboration with clients and HR functional groups.
  • Offer guidance and coaching on employee relations issues, focusing on scalable processes.
  • Provide input on business function restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Partnering with the business and the Human Resources Centers of Excellence, like Talent and Recruiting, on key talent initiatives like workforce planning, high-potential employee development, succession planning, etc.

Major Responsibilities (continued)

  • Assists with identifying training needs for business units and individual coaching needs. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
  • Conduct separation processes including exit interviews, employment documents, payroll coordination and meetings as employees transition out of the Company.
  • Ad Hoc assignments as necessary related to process enhancement, process establishment policy review, etc.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Authority

  • Make independent employee relations-related decisions.
  • Provide recommendations to management regarding employees, business restructures, necessary trainings.
  • Signing authority for lateral transfers and internal promotions.

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred

Related Experience

  • Six or more years of direct HR experience.
  • OEM industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a complex, highly matrixed organization.
  • Talented communicator with a proven track record of leveraging data to influence outcomes.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Broad knowledge of HR functions to exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Ability to quickly build trusting relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders and peers.
  • Ability to motivate, influence, and optimize working relationships with senior leadership.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP.

Certification

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or HRBP certification desired.

Travel: 25% - 50%

$86,800.00 - $124,000.00 Annual
