Location
Purpose
The role involves being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned vehicles, focusing on advanced knowledge of sales performance, inventory levels, product competitiveness, and market trends. The manager will handle data management, visualization, and analysis to support product performance.
The key mission is to achieve revenue and share objectives and provide strategic direction for sales and profitability. The role also supports senior managers in product portfolio management and new product launches for the Genesis car line-up.
Major Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze vehicle performance and create actionable recommendations to share with executive management

Provide strategic input to ensure vehicles meet market needs.

Manage vehicle positioning strategies and key selling points for new, major change, and face-lift vehicles.

Ensure clear and consistent communication of target customers, product concepts, positioning, and key selling points across all platforms.

Optimize competitiveness and support planning meetings for incentives.

Ensure pricing competitiveness and identify revenue-increasing opportunities.

Analyze and validate the financial impact of recommendations.
Major Responsibilities (continued)

Partner with Distribution to optimize trim mix and balance the pipeline.

Ensure Key Selling Points (KSPs) are consistently communicated and aligned with marketing messages.

Collaborate with field leadership to understand market dynamics and optimize media messaging, incentives, and go-to-market plans.

Work with the Sr. Manager to align business objectives with model performance targets and identify necessary product, marketing, and sales programs.

Support Sr. Manager and Sr. Group Manager with Launch Committee Meetings for cross-functional alignment and readiness.

Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

Education
Related Experience
- Six or more years of professional experience at a manufacturer/distributor of consumer products with direct product responsibilities (planning, pricing, marketing, incentives, distribution, and/or sales).
- Automotive, tech, mobility and related industry experience preferred.
- Cross-functional project management experience is required.
- Extensive data analysis experience and data visualization expertise required.
Skills/Knowledge
- Ability to simplify complex issues, develop a compelling point of view, and persuasively make a case for change leading to action.
- Strong automotive industry knowledge preferred.
- MS Office expertise.
- Experience with Tableau, PIN, mTab, Maritz, GfK, IHS/Polk, Urban Science, studies/tools a plus.
