Purpose

  • This position will support both the Senior Manager – DCM Systems and Senior Group Manager – Customer Communications Strategy in the execution of its core functions.
  • Manage projects (independently and collaboratively) from ideation to kickoff.
  • Work with IT team to support the mastering and integration of customer data operations.
  • Generate alignment between business units, Customer Data Management (CDM) objectives and IT systems.
  • Maintain effective business use, integrity, and governance of customer data
  • Assist in the creation and development of large-scale projects that improve data quality, reduce costs/ complexity, and improve revenue/profits.
  • Promote and support the usage and integration of customer data within the enterprise.
  • Generate and execute ideas to resolve problems and to drive innovation.

Major Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Assist in maintaining data quality and governance in both upstream and downstream systems/vendors.
  • Support maintenance of customer data mastering rules.
  • Provide guidance/collaborate with resources to execute data analysis and queries.
  • Provide guidance/collaborate with resources to identify, analyze, and diagnose data-related issues.
  • Create, evaluate, and implement data and operational solutions.
  • Manage customer communication touchpoint inventory and journey.
  • Support management of customer opt-outs and communication preferences.
  • Work with vendors and IT personnel on technical issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Support any ad hoc requests as needed.

  • Meet independently with internal and external stakeholders to research, analyze data and present findings.
  • Provide solutions to problems and provide business recommendations based on analysis.
  • Oversee and manage IT team and vendor(s) to meet project goals and timeline.

Education

~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelor’s degree preferred

Related Experience

  • Six or more years of experience working with data tables and developing data queries.
  • Six or more years of experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Three or more years of experience driving technology innovation projects and change.
  • Three or more years of project management.
  • Three or more years of automotive experience is preferred.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Think analytically, critically and independently to solve problems.
  • Unify technical and business stakeholders to produce desired results.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Manage projects from start to end.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SQL.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Alteryx etc.).
  • Working knowledge of automotive business & operations.
  • Working knowledge of consumer privacy regulations.

$86,800.00 - $124,000.00 Annual
