Purpose

~ Hyundai’s Customer Care team is looking for a finance guru!  This position is responsible for management, reporting, submission, and tracking of all customer care department financial recoveries.  There will be heavy collaboration with internal business units as well as individuals at factories and HQ (domestic and international).   Ideal candidate will have a strong budget reconciliation and financial background, excellent process and program management skills, and an affinity for working with numbers. Additionally, customer will be comfortable managing and directing staff which may include FTEs and or contract/temp employees.

Major Responsibilities

~ Creation and Submission of financial recoveries/ACLs to all manufacturing plants as well as HMC.

~ Tracking and monitoring of financial recovery submissions, and resubmissions as needed.

~ Analytics and reporting on ACL/financial recovery status.

~ Lead regular reconciliation meetings with finance and business unit leads as well as meetings with individuals at various factories and HQ.

Major Responsibilities (continued)

~ Reconciliation of historical, current and ongoing finances related to recoverable customer care, recall, campaign, and settlement programs.

~ Analysis, forecasting, and budget planning, submission and tracking.

~Additional department finance management (budgets, invoicing, change notices, etc) as needed.

Authority

~ Management and development of personnel and contractors within the department (evaluations, hiring, coaching, counseling, terminations).

~ Creation and submission of budgets, forecasts, and ACLs (recoveries).

~ Other authorities as dictated by job grade level.

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred

Related Experience

~5+ years experience in financial reconciliation and audit.

~ 5+ years experience in creating and managing budgets.

~2+ years team management.

~ Experience in processing and tracking invoices.

~ Experience working with cross-functional teams, and third party companies.

~ Consumer Affairs/Customer Service experience a plus.

~ Experience working in the automotive industry a plus.

Skills/Knowledge

~ Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Windows-based computer programs.

~ Strong oral and written communication skills.

~ Strong finance and math skills.

~ Detail oriented and organized.

~Ability to develop and manage processes related to finance and budget reconciliation.

~ Ability to work with many different personalities in a fast paced environment.

~ Excellent collaboration and follow-up skills.

~Program management skills.

~ Excellent decision making skills with defined judgment ability and maturity.
