Intern, Warranty Operations

This position plays a vital role in enhancing the warranty operation for Hyundai and Genesis, ensuring that every publication and report resonates with clarity and precision. By streamlining communication, we empower our team to make informed decisions that drive excellence.

Hyundai internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between December 2025 through June 2027.

Timeline:
Application Window: November to February 2025
Interviews: February 2025 to April 2025
Summer Program: June 2025 to August 2025
Location: National Headquarters in Fountain Valley, CA. - Seeking local candidates only.
Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week

Major Responsibilities:

Review Warranty publication to bring the look and feel up to date  

• Warranty coverage guide 
• Dealer notification 
• SRC publications 
• Field Weekly newsletter 
• Monthly Warranty Townhall presentation 

 
Review field reporting, update look and feel, of different reports.  

• Warranty Operational Performance Report 
• Digital documentation review 
• Monthly Field Warranty Report 
• Engine Performance Report 
• Service Rental Car performance Report 
• Regional Quarterly RO review 

 
Take our training, and give us feedback on the training and the training can be improved 

• Take HMA Warranty Administrator training 
• Provide feedback on Warranty Training 
• Review Regional Warranty Deck  
• Update Regional Warranty training Deck, graphical update  
• Other projects

Additional Notes:

• Available for a full-time paid internship in June to August 2025   
• Local to NHQ (no relocation or housing will be offered)   
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship   
• Hybrid schedule (onsite 3-4x per week, depending on business/project need)   
• Visa sponsorship is not available   
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday) 
• Compensation: $25.00/Hour

Education:

• Must be a high school graduate  
• Working towards a Bachelors in Business, Economics, Marketing, or communication preferred 

Related Experience:

• Experience with publication: online, electronic or print 
• Experience with SQL, report generation, Power BI or Tableau desired 
• Automotive or dealership experience is a plus 

Skill/Knowledge:

• Related course work desired 
• Strong Computer Capability including Excel, Word, Publisher, Adobe, or Canva
