Intern, Retail Experience

Harness the insights from the Hyundai Retail Experience platform to truly understand and address our customers’ top concerns. By combining these valuable survey results with dynamic online research, we can shape innovative best practices that empower our dealers and field teams to excel. As we analyze trend data, we will identify areas that warrant deeper exploration by our analytics team, paving the way for continuous improvement. In this pivotal role, you will become a subject matter expert on meaningful customer interactions and the 5 Keys to customer success. Your mission will be to spotlight those exceptional dealership employees who not only embody these principles but also go the extra mile for their customers, allowing us to celebrate and retain our top talent. The role would also include launching new initiatives like Mobile Service, Service Valet, and Express Service, you will help redefine the customer experience, inspiring loyalty and satisfaction.

Hyundai internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between December 2025 through June 2027.

Timeline:

Location: National Headquarters in Fountain Valley, CA. - Seeking local candidates only.
Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Utilize HRX platform to identify top customer experience opportunities 
  • Combine this information with online research and available training to create best practices 
  • Investigate trends for further analysis by the analytics team 
  • Investigate verbatim for the new project to reward good behavior for the program mgmt. team 
  • Work with the ITA (rewards vendor) and our licensed merchandise vendor to send recognition to dealership employees 
  • Investigate new vendors in the sales and service process technology space 
  • Work to onboard new sales & service processes and communicate launches to the field and dealers 

Additional Notes:

  • Available for a full-time paid internship in June to August 2025   
  • Local to NHQ (no relocation or housing will be offered)   
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship   
  • Hybrid schedule (onsite 3-4x per week, depending on business/project need)   
  • Visa sponsorship is not available   
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
  • Compensation: $25.00/Hour

 

Education:

  • Must be a high school graduate  
  • Junior or Senior in the process of completing a degree at an accredited 4-year university
