Location
Purpose
- Support National Sales wholesale and retail goals.
- Represent Hyundai and Genesis to major daily rental fleet accounts.
- Prioritize customer service.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure alignment with department best practices.
- Support and make recommendations for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and operations.
Major Responsibilities
Customer and Affiliate Interface:
- Develop and maintain relationships with fleet customers.
- Prompt resolution of customer inquiries or concerns.
- Act as a daily liaison between rental accounts and HMA/GMA affiliates Glovis, Mobis and AutoEver, as well as HMA/GMA internal departments such as Finance and Warranty. Collaborate with those groups to advocate for and advance customer problem resolution.
- Act as liaison between rental accounts and HMA/GMA processing dealers.
Operations:
- Foster a customer-first culture and tailor daily operations to achieve.
- Create departmental pricing databases, driven by contractual terms. Prepare and coordinate approval documentation and retain audit logs.
- Create new fleet dealer sub-codes, secure fleet dealer acknowledgements, dealer floor line letters, W-9s and PayMode enrollment.
- Administer and oversee daily operations requirements of remarketing functions, including securing and posting vehicle condition reports, auditing and correcting sales summaries and wire transmissions in conjunction with HMA/GMA Finance and Auction partners, and resolving vehicle inventory and system issues with HMA/GMA Remarketing Managers and HMA/GMA Regional Distribution.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
- Audit and process rental account interest expense claims.
- Secure all required information and set up new customer accounts in SAP and HMA/GMA Finance.
- Facilitate recovery of missing or mis-shipped vehicles. Resolve associated vehicle title or payment issues.
- Verify all shipped vehicles are populated with a confirmed delivery date. Work with Glovis confirm vehicle delivery and systems updates.
- Assist with identifying SAP process gaps or enhancements and defining business requirements.
- Primary responsibility for identifying user test scripts and conducting user acceptance testing.
- Assist with vehicle allocations and Glovis vehicle assignment communications.
- Assist with daily MSO and invoice processing.
Reporting:
- Compile, update and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations.
- Create and retain pricing database audit logs.
- Create and maintain fleet SAP user manual.
Authority
- May supervise direct reports and conduct performance evaluations.
- Submit ITSM / systems change requests.
- This role requires the performance of work directly related to management and/or general business operations.
- The exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance is required.
Education
Related Experience
- Five or more years of automotive experience, with two years specific to Fleet and/or Distribution required
- One or more years of experience managing a direct report
- One or more years of experience with SAP required
- One or more years of experience working with customers, and internal cross-functional teams across various levels of leadership
Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Exercise independent judgement in a demanding environment with competing priorities.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
- Knowledge of SAP.
