Location
Purpose
~ Hyundai seeks to lead as the automotive industry transitions to electrification. This role will support Hyundai’s eco-mobility initiatives and eco-compliance work to help the company meet its electrification goals.
Major Responsibilities
~ Eco-Mobility: Provide data driven support for Hyundai’s innovative Evolve+ EV Subscription service (“Evolve”).
~ Weekly responsibilities: (1) manage and update program KPIs, (2) develop executive level reports on the status of current dealer, dealer expansion, and overall program as well as vehicle and dealer-related tracking.
~ Coordinate with headquarters and regional counterparts to drive program efficiencies, develop program targets, and related assignments.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
~ Regulatory Compliance: provide data driven support for zero emission vehicle (ZEV), corporate average fuel economy (CAFE), greenhouse gas (GHG), and emissions compliance forecasting and reporting.
~ Use independent judgement to review and interpret vehicle fleet data for current and future years to help run compliance scenarios and develop compliance solutions.
~ Use advanced knowledge to track and record engine certification(s) and testing results.
~ Exercise discretion to categorize, create, and pull large data sets within Hyundai’s data systems (SAP, CAARS, etc.).
~ Manage output data proficiently in Excel via pivot tables, charts & graphs to create data summaries.
~ Provide support to other areas, such as customer electrification journey, as needed
Authority
~ Position requires activities that ensure Hyundai compliance with federal and state emissions and fuel economy regulations that affect Hyundai as a distributor, rather than Hyundai as a manufacturer.
~ Position requires understanding federal and state technical related regulations that may impact the company's business.
~ Position requires supporting Hyundai departments to take steps to assure that Hyundai complies with federal and state technical related regulations that affect the company.
Education
Related Experience
~ Five or more years of data experience required.
~ Extensive experience in SAP, NextGen CAARS, Incentive VINS systems highly preferred.
~ Experience in sales and/or operations, preferably within automotive technology or mobility.
~ Automotive dealer, telematics, or technology experience a plus.
~ Three or more years of experience in managing diverse projects is desirable.
Skills/Knowledge
~ Strong ability to create innovative strategies and solutions within the operational functions of the business.
~ Self-motivated and driven individual with the ability to learn new skills and grow within the role.
~ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
~ Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required. Strong MS Excel skills required.
~ Excellent modeling and forecasting skills to deliver quantified results using relevant metrics such as usage growth, product performance, client satisfaction, etc.
~ Must have a driver’s license and qualify for a lease vehicle (for insurability purposes).
