~ The Regional Parts & Service Manager (RPSM) provides the leadership, the direction, coaching, counseling and development for the regional staff within the Service & Parts Operations so as to exceed all HMA performance targets. Targets include (but are not limited to): New Car, Part and Accessory Sales, Dealer Profitability, HMA Profitability, Customer Satisfaction, Dealer Process and Facility metrics, Campaign Completion, Training, Warranty Management, and General Budget Management.

Major Responsibilities

~ Clearly communicate HMA’s philosophy, objectives and programs as needed to all Hyundai dealers within the assigned region.

~ Clearly communicate HMA’s philosophy, objectives and programs as needed to all staff within the assigned region.

~ Monitor dealership performance/adherence to HMA policies and procedures in areas of Parts Purchases, Parts Inventory Control, Fixed Operations Training, Warranty Expense/Claim Management and Goodwill Management, Consumer Affairs Case Management with Buyback Management, Customer Satisfaction with focus on Owner Retention, Dealer Profitability, Dealer Facility and Processes along with general business operations.

~ Provide support to Region GM in dealer development activities so as to build the brand image of Hyundai, deliver increase volume of new car sales, provide industry leading service/parts experience to Hyundai owners and improved profitability to Hyundai dealers.

~ Provide Innovative and Supportive Leadership to Region Staff and DPSMs while providing actionable input to HMA Leadership on improving field level programs, reporting, processes, and operations.

~ The RPSM has authority as follows:

~ Personnel actions within the Region’s Parts & Service organization.

~ Operating budget expenditures.

~ Decision making on programs & initiatives to further HMA’s corporate goals.

~ Management and protection of all HMA assets within the Region’s Parts & Service organization.


~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelor’s degree preferred
~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

~ Ten plus years of leadership/management experience of which at least eight years of directly related experience in automotive management, etc.)

~ Five to seven years of remote team and staff supervisory experience desired.

~ Ten plus years of wholesale experience desired.


~ Excellent time management skills.

~ Excellent communication (written, oral presentation) skills.

~ Proven leadership skills.

~ Excellent organizational skills.

~ Excellent knowledge of automotive retail/wholesale sales, service & parts operations.

~ Excellent computer based skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word or similar PC software with working knowledge of data manipulation/management.
