Purpose

  • Direct report to Sr. Manager, Interactive Marketing, in supporting the Hyundai consumer-facing website (Hyundaiusa.com) initiatives and working cross functionally with business partners to achieve brand vision & objectives.
  • Responsibilities include Interactive Marketing activities for various owned properties including HyundaiUSA.com, microsites, marketing Apps and digital content development while providing competitive solutions for analytics platform and back-end infrastructure. Manage strategic development and execution in these areas, as well as budget planning and management.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support leading H.com new major initiatives and ongoing projects.
  • Manage the planning and operations of the Marketing’s digital destination development, upgrades and general maintenance and reporting in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Working with the Sr. Manager, Interactive Marketing, business stakeholders and in-house IT organization, other technology partners to keep HyundaiUSA.com competitive and manage other digital projects from inception to launch, ensuring marketing integration and timely implementation.
  • Lead and manage each assigned project PMO teams as PMO lead.
  • Ensuring production activity is consistent with HMA’s marketing strategy.
  • Managing Creative Agency of Record to provide creative strategy and execution of both integrated and standalone digital programs.
  • Define business requirements and scope for projects by clearly communicating HMA business expectations, feedback and approvals to involved parties.
  • Integrating and optimizing mobile, tablet, desktop sites and mobile Apps into HMA’s marketing ecosystem.
  • Managing the vendor(s) selected to provide creative strategy and execution.
  • Negotiating production costs and timelines.

Major Responsibilities (continued)

  • Creating and presenting executive PowerPoint briefings.
  • Conducting routine status updates.
  • Conducting continual process improvements that reduce or eliminate content errors.
  • Effectively coach, counsel, and develops staff. Utilize the diverse talents of the staff by efficiently managing staff’s time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.
  • Ad hoc assignments as directed by the Sr. Manager, Interactive Marketing.
  • Serve as central point of contact for project information and stakeholder needs.
  • Design and execute rigorous testing procedures to ensure high quality production deliverables.
  • Construct and administer detailed project plans and communicate comprehensive success metrics.
  • Be proactive about solving problems and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
  • Work with T3/Hyundai Drive stakeholders to increase dealer and sales personnel awareness and participation in the test drive program.
  • Assist with UATs for H.com updates and functionalities such as HeyHyundai and managed chat.
  • Manage various analytics reporting including HeyHyundai, managed chat, BlueLink, and Drive.
  • Foreign Language site support.
  • Web Quality Control support.
  • Backend and 3rd party vendor Integrations support.
  • 3rd Party vendors and Contractors Procurement/Contracting/Managing support.
  • Budget forecasting and maintenance support.

Authority

  • This position has common Manager-level authority.
  • This role requires the performance of work directly related to management and/or general business operations.
  • The exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance is required.

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree required.
~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

  • Six or more years of experience of which at least three years of directly related experience in digital strategy plan and operations in automotive or other consumer facing industry with a detailed understanding of the digital marketing function.
  • Experience of Project Management and full SDLC execution required as PMO lead or Project Lead
  • Enterprise-level customer-facing website management experience required.
  • Management consulting experiences a definite plus.
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Skills/Knowledge

  • Ability to identify/quantify business opportunity as it applies to digital technology.
  • Strong understanding of digital architectures and technologies.
  • Ability to assess operational and strategic strengths and make recommendations to leverage or augment strengths and weaknesses.
  • Capability to apply common development methodologies, financial analysis, and project management techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and mastery of analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Omniture, etc.).
  • Diplomatic and collaborative attitude, able to motivate partners to meet and exceed business expectations.
  • Ability to create and present executive facing presentations and other materials.
  • Ability to manage by influence as well as authority.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Project Management Skills with attention to detail; master at multi-tasking.
  • Agency management experience preferred.
  • Multiple vendor management experience preferred.

Certification

  • PMP certification preferred or PMP certification plus
