Location
Purpose
- The Senior Manager will manage the development and production of all national marketing, advertising and social media campaigns against key Genesis marketing objectives to increase brand awareness, opinion, consideration and ultimately drive overall demand.
Major Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional internal + external agency teams + global teams to ensure integrated campaigns are strategically consistent, (align with brand guidelines, tone, etc).
- Reinforce marketing strategy for all brand, product/retailer advertising, and marketing communications including, but not limited to, brand identity guidelines, online asset management system, internal branding, and retailer showroom rollout.
- Day to day management of advertising and social media content and campaign activities for general market.
- Work with internal and agency social teams to develop overall social media strategy that boosts brand awareness and grows social channels.
- Manage campaign timelines and regularly communicate status to all stakeholders.
- Manage all content productions to ensure success of integrated campaign(s).
- Maintain awareness of current and changing market and social trends, consumer attitudes, and opinions.
- Actively seek new opportunities, platforms, or ways to strengthen and grow the Genesis brand.
- Work closely with global brand team to maintain consistent brand look, feel and tone in all marketing channels.
- Provide reports that interpret information and deliver analysis, key learnings, effectiveness, and opportunities to increase overall metrics and effectiveness of all campaign activities.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
- Manage the development of all brand content for Tier 1 (National), Tier 2 (Regional/RMAP), and Tier 3 (Local marketing) programs.
- Responsible for tracking of program budgets and scope of work, ensuring maximum ROI, and overall expenditures remain in line with agreed budgets.
- Lead the management of all brands, product, and retail campaign budget allocations managing cost consultants to maximize efficiencies and safeguard maximum ROI and overall expenditure remain in line with agreed budgets.
- Work directly with agency partners in planning and project assignments, providing strategic input and feedback, etc.
- Liaise with global brand team to insure overall brand and content alignment.
- Support the development and implementation of cross channel strategy and communications for all brand campaign and product launch initiatives.
- Collaborate & effectively communicate across all GMA departments, Regions & Vendors.
- Oversee Genesisadplanner.com and advertising website, ensuring all assets remain updated for ongoing Dealer use.
- Spearhead brainstorming for new opportunities that strengthen ongoing and future campaigns.

- Hiring, performance management, and termination recommendations of direct reports.
- Budget development, management, and analysis.
- Responsible for setting objectives and achieving results that have a major impact on departmental and possibly division performance.
- Resolve issues and communicate to management and business partners
- Manage activities and performance of agency and other service providers.
Education
Related Experience
- Eight or more years of relevant marketing experience with at least five years directly related to automotive, advertising, or marketing.
- Minimum of five years of automotive industry experience preferred.
- Agency and/or related client-side experience required.Supervisory experience is required.
Skills/Knowledge
- Ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal working relationships at variety of levels.
- Ability to manage high-paced environment with multiple projects and agency personnel.
- Ability to lead the creative development of campaign and maintain a macro strategy.
- Experience effectively managing projects, personnel, and budgets.
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
