Purpose

~ The Senior Group Manager, Genesis Field Strategy and Operations brings the Genesis Brand and Culture to life through leadership, direction, coaching, counseling, and developing the staff in NHQ, as well as coordinating activities with the field team supporting the dealers to exceed all GMA performance targets.

~ Targets include, but are not limited to:

          ~ Lead and provide input for new types of analysis and forecasting methodologies for the sales functions to optimize promotional resources to support achievement of sales volume and the market share objective.

          ~ Coordinate and lead the teams responsible for retail process improvement, training, sales planning and sales analytics and forecasting.

          ~ Responsible for maintaining relationship and communication with Genesis Retail Advisory Board (RAB), as well as NADA. Included are Dealer Council communications, NADA Dealer Attitude Survey and GMA Dealer communications.

Major Responsibilities

~ Clearly and routinely communicate GMA’s philosophy, objectives, updates, and programs as needed to all Genesis staff and dealers.

~ Responsible for managing all aspects of Keystone Program (program rules, budgeting, analysis, forecasting, etc.).

~ Serve as the Department head for all aspects that impact the Regional Sales Organization (Communications, MSP, Sales Forecasting, Marketing, etc.).

~ Effectively utilize the Market Support Programs (MSP) and co-op to achieve desired objectives.

~ Primary liaison for NADA. Responsible for maintaining relationship with NADA, including communications related to Dealer Attitude Surveys and NADA annual convention related presentations.

~ Retail Advisory Board liaison; responsible for strengthening relationship.

~ Monitor dealership performance/adherence to GMA policies and procedures in areas of Sales, Marketing/Advertising, Customer Sales Satisfaction with focus on Retention, Dealer Profitability, General Business Operations, and compliance with all other GMA guidelines.

~ Support dealer development activities in building the brand image of Genesis, deliver increase volume of new car sales, provide industry leading service/parts experience to Genesis owners and improved profitability to Genesis dealers.

~ Efficiently communicate, monitor, and execute strategies developed to regional employees while providing actionable feedback to GMA National Sales, Aftersales/CX/Training, Public Relations, and Marketing on improving field level programs, processes, and operations.

~ Achieve monthly/yearly Retail Sales, Service Valet objectives.

~ Keep Genesis leadership informed and advised of all sales related issues which includes, but is not limited to, the performance of the regional sales employees, dealer issues, market issues, etc.

Major Responsibilities (continued)

~ Oversee creation and standardize analysis of monthly sales results, including market share and segment performance relative to GMA’s competitive set and the overall industry.

~ Use advanced knowledge to lead the development of new approaches for analyzing sales results by region and market, including post-program analysis of incentive program changes and other go-to-market changes (advertising, co-op, MSP, etc.).

~ Oversee improvement of existing retail sales forecasting capabilities to more accurately forecast volume results at the national and regional level.

~ Evaluate competitive programs and develop a perspective on the potential impact on the industry and GMA performance through quantitative, logic-based analysis.

~ Oversee analysis of National and Regional sales programs and review sales performance at the National, Regional, District, and Dealer levels.

~ Employee development and management of direct reports: providing development, training, coaching and direction to ensure candidate is meeting requirements of position, as well as developing employee for future GMA opportunities.

~ Oversee coordination of the Circle of Prestige dealer program in terms of budget reconciliation and compliance, final approvals, reporting, and tracking.

~ Maintain department spending within assigned budget.

~ Authorization of purchasing/accounting documents associated with department.

~ Keystone Program management and strategy.

~ Operating Budget performance and management.

~ Develop, mentor, and conduct personnel reviews.

~ Execution of programs & initiatives to further GMA’s corporate goals.

~ Management and protection of all GMA assets.

Education

~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelor’s degree required.
~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

~ Ten or more years of leadership/management experience (at least eight years of directly related experience in automotive management, etc.)

~ Ten or more years of automotive wholesale experience desired.

~ Regional Sales/Field experience desired.

Skills/Knowledge

~ Excellent time management skills.

~ Superb communication (written, oral presentation) skills.

~ Proven effective leadership skills.

~ Excellent organizational skills.

~ Knowledge of automotive retail/wholesale sales, service & parts operations.

~ Excellent computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or similar PC software with working knowledge of data manipulation/management.

$137,025.00 - $203,000.00 Annual
