Purpose

The Senior Group Manager, Genesis CX Strategy & Planning provides leadership and direction in support of the Customer Experience (CX) initiatives, vision, short/mid/long-term strategies, and performance targets. The focus of this position is to align and integrate the CX, After-Sales, and Training sub-division’s strategy, goals, plans, and budget, and executive administration.

Major Responsibilities

  • Function as chief-of-staff for the GMNA CX, After-Sales, and Training sub-division.
  • Produce sub-division’s long- and near-term strategic plans.
  • Design framework, facilitate workshops, integrate goals and plans from all departments, and align with corporate strategy.
  • Direct sub-division’s annual budget planning and alignment with business plan.
  • Manage sub-division governance through; design new KPIs, report goal progress monthly/quarterly, develop executive presentations monthly, facilitate strategic meetings, support regional CX sub-committees and field team.
  • Identify and facilitate strategic actions that mitigate risk and/or leverage opportunities.
  • Facilitate sub-division’s vehicle launch readiness process for all models.
  • Oversee schedules and launch gates, publish executive reports, and deliver presentations.
  • Manage monthly sub-division meetings and ad hoc coordination events, CX executive administrative support.
  • Represent division on enterprise task forces and related areas to identify issues, best practices, and collaboration opportunities across product, dealer, and customer experiences.

Authority

  • Operates with limited supervision and direction from the CX executive, while providing inter-division and inter-region support.
  • Makes strategic and tactical decisions about CX division strategies, plans, and performance indicators.
  • Leads division budget consolidation and supports region budget planning and escalates issues with Finance, as needed.
  • Employment decision-making abilities in designated area of responsibility. Hires, manages, reviews, and develops employees. Hire contractor support, as needed.

Education

~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelor’s degree required.
~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

  • Ten or more years of experience in strategy and operations in roles that involve management of goals, budget, and projects; research and analysis; and executive presentation development.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred.
  • At least four years of supervisory experience.
  • Supplier/vendor management experience.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, Word capabilities.
  • Strong orgranizational and team leadership skills.
  • Extremely strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and present data effectively to executive management and HMC.
  • A passion for products and following / understanding competitor strategies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills, especially with complex information presented to senior executives.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

$137,025.00 - $203,000.00 Annual
