Purpose

  • The primary purpose of the Manager, Genesis Cross Carline Performance & Revenue, is to align HMC and Americas Strategic Regions’ product/profit targets by models in each product milestones.
  • Monitor performance across entire Genesis portfolio after launch and make recommendation to maximize profit improve opportunities.
  • Serve as the Voice of Americas SR’s product teams and advise PDO leadership on all product performance matters and manufacturing plants to meet product planning and sales targets.

Major Responsibilities

  • Steer Hyundai Americas SR in each HMC Genesis product milestones to maximize profit and sales potential by having full understanding of HMC development capabilities.
  • Analyze Genesis Income Statement provided by HMC Global Headquarter and review every financial factor of America SR.
  • Finding optimization idea for profit improvement with every division within Hyundai Americas SR.
  • Support all the meetings with related parties and executives of Hyundai Americas SR and prepare meeting materials or discussion materials.
  • Align Americas SR Performance with HMC Target and develop countermeasures to minimize any discrepancies.
  • Optimize targets according to each market’s competitive environment, performance and improve plan.

  • Monitor monthly Sales / Finance / Cost performances.
  • Coordinate HMC’s product and profit related ad hoc requests with US and Canada.
  • Support Top Management’s decision makings and CCRO for HMMA model’s cost reduction activities.

Authority

  • Product development / Price positioning / Sales cost / Material cost management.

Education

~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelor’s degree preferred
~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

  • Six or more years of professional experience in automotive manufacturer/distributor with direct product responsibilities (planning, marketing, and/or sales).
  • Supervisory experience is desired.
  • Cross-functional team management experience is required.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficiency.
  • Good organizational and Data mining skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to simplify complex issues, develop compelling point of view, persuasively make case for change leading to action.
  • Outstanding written & verbal presentation skills required for external and Senior Leadership interactions.
  • Strong automotive technology knowledge.
  • Korean as second language is a plus.

$86,800.00 - $124,000.00 Annual
