Intern, Genesis Customer Experience & Training

Location: National Headquarters in Fountain Valley, CA. - Seeking local candidates only.
Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week
Purpose:
As Genesis Motor America’s sales and service needs increase, Customer Experience and Training has become pivotal to the success of its growing customer base. As an intern of the Customer Experience and Training team, a successful candidate will contribute in a significant way to the following areas:
- Support the customer feedback team on all acquisition and ownership surveys, including deployment, analysis, and platform training,
- Aid in the development, deployment and sustainment of retailer training and process improvement initiatives,
- Advocate and promote a premium guest experience,
- And act as a subject matter expert and ambassador of Genesis vehicles and services.
Major Responsibilities & Project Details:
Customer Feedback Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze and report on customer feedback trends using the Genesis Experience survey dashboard and reporting tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel
- Utilize data-driven insights to drive and recommend and implement improvements at all levels of the organization
Sales & Service Retail Experience Initiatives:
- Develop comprehensive reporting to support and track ongoing in-retailer consulting, mystery shop, and evaluations
- Leverage customer feedback and consulting results as well as field and retailer feedback to implement document process changes in national process guides
- Support for finance and recovery efforts (budget tracking, purchase orders, reconciliation)
- Ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Training and Education:
- Participate, support, and analyze results of in-retailer training events and web-based training events
- Recommend digital and live training based on customer feedback and retail experience results
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop and provide field-specific training
Miscellaneous:
- Weekly meetings with CX & Training leadership on the progress of programs
- Field escalation cases from customer, retailer, and HQ teams for internal review and prep executive leadership communication
Additional Notes:
- Available for a full-time paid internship in June to August 2025
- Local to NHQ (no relocation or housing will be offered)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship
- Hybrid schedule (onsite 3-4x per week, depending on business/project need)
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
- Business travel as needed (<15%).
- Compensation: $25.00/Hour
Education:
- Must be a high school graduate
- Bachelor’s degree (in process)
Related Experience:
- Two or more years of work experience.
- Forecasting & regression analysis experience preferred.
- Automotive/Luxury OEM or auto finance company experience a plus.
Skill/Knowledge:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have highly effective verbal and written skills.
- Self-motivated, high initiative works well independently with little to moderate direction.
- Excellent Collaboration with multiple departments and stakeholders
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Experience with Alteryx a plus.
