Intern, Genesis After Sales

The Genesis After Sales Intern position is not just an opportunity; it's a gateway to influence and innovation in the automotive industry. Timeline:
Application Window: November to February 2025

Location: National Headquarters in Fountain Valley, CA. - Seeking local candidates only.
Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week

 

Major Responsibilities & Project Details:

  • Owner Marketing and Digital Operations: 
  • Marketing/Program coordination between agencies, partners, retailers, field staff, and internal Genesis team members 
  • Contribute to program planning and operations 
  • Program tracking and reporting 

 
Parts Planning and Operations: 

  • Support tracking and monitoring parts orders, issues across US retailers 
  • Identification of opportunities to create efficiencies in process 
  • Parts reporting and analytics support 

 
Dealer Programs: 

  • Provide program coordination with retailers, field operations, and internal team members 
  • Program tracking, reporting and analysis  
  • Creation and editing of presentations for executive team members 
  • Program operational support as needed 

 
Miscellaneous: 

  • Weekly cross-functional meetings (attend, organize, track) 
  • Support for finance and recovery efforts (budget tracking, purchase orders, reconciliation) 
  • Ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

 

Additional Notes:

  • Available for a full-time paid internship in June to August 2025   
  • Local to NHQ (no relocation or housing will be offered)   
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship   
  • Hybrid schedule (onsite 3-4x per week, depending on business/project need)   
  • Visa sponsorship is not available   
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday) 
  • Business travel as needed (<15%). 
  • Compensation: $25.00/Hour

Education:

  • Must be a high school graduate 
  • Undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program

Related Experience:

  • Experience working with data sets to provide reporting and analytics 
  • Experience creating, reviewing and editing presentations 
  • Financial and accounting knowledge is a plus 
  • Passion for automobiles, automotive industry, and luxury products 
  • Automotive/dealership/luxury experience a plus 

Skill/Knowledge:

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills. 
  • Self-motivated, high initiative works well independently. 
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills. 
  • Exceptional time management skills. 
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook. 
  • Experience with Alteryx and Tableau a plus.
